As more and more foreign athletes have temporarily joined the ranks of Israeli athletics, the compilers found it necessary to exclude from the all-time main lists those who disassociated themselves from the local scene within 12 months of their “draft”, although they might have continued to carry Israeli passports. Results by such athletes during their short period as Israelis appear under the title “temporary eligibility”.
